This project driven by bioCEED will help you get a better grip on data management and statistics in the context of biological studies. Our aim is to provide you with useful tutorials, videos and other materials adapted to all study levels from bachelor to doctorate.
In collaboration with SFU MatRIC, a series of videos in Norwegian introducing basic concepts in statistics (such as average, variability , normal distribution and binomial and Poisson distribution) were produced and made available in the section VideoST@TS. We also conducted a pilot study investigating students’ perception of these videos and their effects. The report showing preliminary results from this study is available here.
bioST@TS is a living website, growing day by day. Some pages are clearly “under construction”. New pages and sections are constantly added, contents get updated when needed… If you do not find what you need, come back later or use the links at the bottom of the pages to find more info elsewhere on the web. You may as well send us a message via the form under “contact us” and tell us what you would like to find here.
Have a great time on our platform.
